title: "The order worklist"
description: "Record agreements, viewing results and next steps."
---

The worklist is an order’s activity history: conversations, presentations, viewings, agreements and system changes. It helps colleagues understand what happened and what to do next without relying on verbal updates.

## Record the result of an activity

Open **Worklist** in the order and choose **Add entry**. Select a subject, describe the outcome and save. For a viewing, you can also record whether the property suits the client.

Be specific: who you spoke to, what you discussed, what you agreed and who will take the next step. For example: “After the viewing, the client requested a floor plan. Send it today and follow up tomorrow.”

Some system changes also appear in the history automatically. These entries are distinct from employee comments.

## Plan the next step

Mark an entry as a **task** or **question** if work remains open. Set a reminder date and time and, where needed, select employees to notify.

With [Google Calendar connected](/docs/en/integrations/google-calendar), reminders can also appear in your calendar. Use the related-order fields in the entry form for agreements concerning a particular matching order.

## Access and editing

Visibility depends on your role, responsibility for the order and agency settings. Marking an entry as hidden restricts its visibility according to SOM permissions.

You can edit your own ordinary entries when the edit control is available. Automatic entries and some order states may restrict editing or adding records. The help beside the worklist heading explains visibility.

## Use the history during everyday work

Read recent entries before a call or before handing an order to a colleague. After [sending a presentation](/docs/en/orders/presentations), negotiating or arranging a viewing, record the outcome. Each stage of the [main workflow](/docs/en/general/workflow) will then have a clear result and next step.
