Buying an order to work on through the SOM order exchange

Agree on partner terms and take over an order in your CRM.

What buying an order means

You take over a partner’s order to work directly with the client. After confirmation, the order and client details are copied into your CRM. The partner’s fee is defined by the order’s sale terms, with settlement linked to the resulting deal.

This differs from selecting a matching order for a joint deal: you are taking over the partner’s order itself.

Choose an order and check the terms

Open the order exchange (MLS), find a suitable order and review its description, requirements and partner terms. Clarify the fee payable after a deal and each party’s responsibilities.

If the author is not yet offering the order for sale, you can send a request and propose terms. Sending a request does not confirm the purchase.

Confirm the purchase

Choose Buy to work on. Review the sale terms again in the confirmation dialog. Confirm once you have agreed to them: pressing the confirmation button means accepting the stated terms.

Continue in your own CRM

After a successful purchase, open the copied order, check the client details and plan your next action. Record negotiations, viewings and agreements in its worklist.

The partner’s original order is locked against normal editing. The partner can see automatic updates about progress, including status changes and the order moving into a deal.

Completion and cancellation

After the deal, settle with the partner according to the agreed terms. If you need to cancel the purchase, agree this with the partner first and read the confirmation dialog carefully: the order copy is deleted from your CRM and the partner regains control of the original.
